KELOWNA - A donation from Grouse River Outifitters will help pay for some new equipment and training for the volunteers at the Central Okanagan Search and Rescue Society.
The money was raised during the store’s grand opening weekend at the end of August. Staff had run some raffles.
COSAR also brought their barbecue and raised some dollars that way.
Established in 1954, COSAR is one of the oldest Search and Rescue Societies in B.C.
The group is based out of Kelowna.
