LOS ANGELES, Calif. - Toronto Mayor Rob Ford will make a guest appearance tonight on Jimmy Kimmel's TV show in Los Angeles.
The late night comedian has relied on Ford for a mountain of monologue material over the past several months, and says he's never been more excited about a guest.
He even got a bit of a head start by using the mayor for a gag during a post-Oscar show Sunday night.
As Kimmel waited for actor Kevin Spacey to join him on stage, Ford, dressed in a tuxedo, suddenly appeared, only to be told by Kimmel that he was actually supposed to be on the following night.
A grinning Ford then muttered an apology, waved to the cheering audience, and exited stage left.
When Kimmel later thanked Spacey for sharing a dressing rooming with Ford, Spacey joked that the mayor had thrown up all over it.
Monday night's show airs at 11:35 p.m. ET on ABC.
