KAMLOOPS - A stormy conclusion to the end of the week in Kamloops will be followed by rebounding temperatures on the weekend.
Environment Canada says Kamloops can expect the temperature to hit 30 Celsius today, June 21, accompanied by a 70 per cent chance of thunderstorms.
A severe thunderstorm watch has been issued for the city this morning, June 21.
On Friday, expect a 60 per cent chance of showers, possible thundershowers and a high of 25 C.
Temperatures are expected to rebound on the weekend to 30 C on Saturday, with a 30 per cent chance of showers. Sunday will be the most pleasant day of the weekend with sunshine and a high of 31 C.
On Monday, be prepared for a 60 per cent chance of showers and a high of 26 C, followed by sunny skies once again and temperatures of 24 C and 26 C for Tuesday and Wednesday.
Seasonally normal temperatures for this time of year in Kamloops are highs of 26 C and lows of 12 C.
