Thief steals from tip jar at downtown Kelowna business

KELOWNA - Employees in Kelowna are being reminded by the RCMP to keep a close eye on their tips after a thief stole from a tip jar last night.

RCMP are seeking the public’s help to identify a person of interest after tip jar money was stolen from a downtown Kelowna business just after 6:30 p.m. yesterday, April 17.

Police aren't saying which business was targetted.

“The individual allegedly fled the business with an unknown amount of cash,” Jesse O’Donaghey says in a media release.
