September 21, 2015 - 12:35 PM

TORONTO - Two "Game of Thrones" actors will star in a stage production of the mystery thriller "Gaslight" that's set to play in Toronto.

Owen Teale, who plays Alliser Thorne on "Game of Thrones," will star alongside Ian McElhinney, who played Barristan Selmy on the series.

Mirvish Productions will stage the play from Jan. 16 to Feb. 28.

The theatre company revealed the casting as it announced new details for its 2015-16 season.

A total of 18 shows will be in the season, including the previously announced "Motown the Musical" by legendary music producer Berry Gordy, which begins Tuesday at the Princess of Wales Theatre.

"The Judas Kiss," starring Rupert Everett as Oscar Wilde, will start running in March.

The comedy "A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder," which won the 2014 Tony for best musical, will arrive in the city direct from New York on May 25.

And an all-Canadian "Matilda the Musical" will begin in July at the Ed Mirvish Theatre.

Other shows in the season include "Seminar" by Theresa Rebeck, who created the TV series "Smash," as well as Rodgers and Hammerstein's contemporary take on "Cinderella" and a new North American tour of "The Phantom of the Opera."
