SURREY, B.C. - Mounties in Surrey, B.C., are investigating yet another murder in what has been a gruesome month for the city.
The body of a man was found in a grassy area on the side of a road in South Surrey on Monday morning.
The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team confirms the man's death was a homicide.
Police say they're still working on identifying the man and don't know yet if the murder is related to gang activity.
Earlier this month, Surrey RCMP Chief Supt. Bill Fordy spoke out about the dangers of a life of crime after a spate of murders.
Four men were killed and one person was wounded in a series of shootings over a two-day period starting on Jan. 13.
