Sunshine and warmer than normal temperatures this week in Kamloops

 KAMLOOPS - This week Environment Canada predicts warmer temperatures than normal in the Tournament Capital.

Normal highs for this time of year are around 19 Celsius, however this week the mercury is expected to climb into the mid-20s.

Today, Sept. 25, is expected to be mainly cloudy with a 60 per cent chance of showers this morning. The high today is expected to reach 23 C. Overnight, temperatures are predicted to fall to 10 C. It is expected to remain cloudy overnight.

Tomorrow's forecast will bring a mix of sun and cloud to Kamloops with a high of 25 C. Temperatures are expected to fall to 9 C overnight.

Wednesday and Thursday are predicted to be sunny with a high of 26 C. Overnight, skies will likely remain clear and temperatures will fall to 10 C.

Environment Canada predicts sunny skies to remain in Kamloops on Friday with a high temperature around 24 C, however, the sun is not expected to linger because Friday night is expected to have cloudy periods.

The forecast calls for a mix of sun and cloud on the weekend with highs around 20 C.

Normal temperatures for this time of year are highs of 19 C and lows of 6 C.
