Environment Canada is promising warmth and sunshine for most of the Thanksgiving long weekend.
It may start damp today, Oct. 5, in Kamloops as there is a 30% chance of showers early this morning.
But it’s forecast to clear this afternoon and reach a high of 20 Celsius.
Sunshine is forecast through Sunday with highs of 21-22 C. A mix of sun and cloud is forecast for the holiday Monday with a high of 23 C.
For the Okanagan, there could be a mix of sun and cloud in Vernon but sunnier in Kelowna and Penticton today then sunny through to Sunday with highs of 19-23 C.
A mix of sun and cloud is forecast for Monday with a high of 20 C.
Overnight lows throughout the region are expected to be in the 6-9 C range.
