Sunny skies returning to Kamloops later this week

Sunny skies and seasonable temperatures are expected to return to Kamloops by mid-week.

KAMLOOPS - Kamloops residents can look forward to a return to clear skies later this week.

Environment Canada says a 60 per cent threat of showers this morning should give way to a mix of sun and cloud this afternoon, with a high of 18 Celsius expected.

Expect wind today, April 22, as well, with southeast winds at 30 km/h gusting to 50 this afternoon before dying off this evening.

Tuesday should bring a mix of sun and cloud with a 40 per cent chance of showers in the afternoon and a high of 19 C.

It shold clear overnight with a low of 6 C, followed by sunny skies on Wednesday with a high of 16 C.

The sunshine continues through Thursday and Friday, with expected highs of 19 C on Thursday and 16 C on Friday.

Next weekend’s forecast is for a mix of sun and clouds with highs of 16 C on Saturday and Sunday.

Kamloops' normal high and low for this time of year is 18 C and 4 C.
