Grade 9 students at Dr. Knox Middle School in Kelowna launched a weather balloon into space.

KELOWNA – The grade nine students at Dr. Knox Middle School in Kelowna launched a weather balloon, with cameras attached, that climbed 95,000 feet in space.
The video of the experiment was posted to YouTube last week.
The spacecraft was launched from the school yard at Dr. Knox.
The balloon burst and the craft landed in the Cascade mountains south of the border in Washington State where it was recovered.
