REGION - A chance of rain from Wednesday to Sunday might be mixed blessings for the region. On one hand it will be reduce the chances for forest fires but it might also rain on the parades of tourists and sun worshippers.
Wednesday afternoon will kick things off with a chance of clouds in Penticton, Kelowna, Vernon and Kamloops with more clouds predicted tonight.
On Thursday there will be clouds and a high of 28 C for all four communities. Kelowna and Vernon will see some rain during the day and there is a good chance of rain for all communities on Thursday night.
Friday starts off with a chance of showers and a high of 28 C in all four areas with Saturday looking about the same. The sun makes an appearance on Sunday with a mix of sunlight and cloud for the region and a high of 28 C expected.
