OTTAWA - Statistics Canada reports the economy grew by 0.3 per cent in October, the fourth consecutive monthly increase. That was better than economists had expected. They general estimate had been for gross domestic product to grow by 0.2 per cent in October, compared with September's increase of 0.3 per cent.
