The Penticton Farmers' Market also starts up for the season this weekend, located on the 100 block of Main Street and operating from 8:30 a.m. until 1 p.m.

The Bacchanalia 2018 Food and Wine event is Saturday, April 21 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Penticton Lakeside Resort. Tickets are $85 and cocktail attire is recommended.

Wine aficionados can also enjoy an evening at the Mile Zero Wine Bar in Penticton where Mike and Mike present their pursuit over the last few years to make low intervention, terroir driven wines. Low Intervention Wines from Vancouver Island is free starting at 6 p.m. on Saturday.
