Splash of Colour parking restrictions

B.C. Lions Society will host its first Splash of Colour 5-kilometre fun run on Saturday, April 19. Participants will be using sidewalks and pathways. Traffic control personnel will be visible and motorists may experience minor disruptions where participants cross Water Street (north of Smith Avenue), as well as Cawston Avenue and Water Street near Prospera Place.
Motorists are still advised to watch for participants along the route.
Parking restrictions will be in effect from 6 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the following areas:
- West side of Water Street from Queensway to the Water Street Boat Launch
- City Park parking lot
- Queensway parking lot
- Dolphins parking lot (adjacent to Rhapsody Plaza at Waterfront Park)
- Water Street Boat Launch parking lot
