Speakeasy at Capone’s Underground Affair

Prepare your imagination for a journey back in time. Think Great Gatsby! Kip Jon Productions has teamed up with the Centre for Arts and Technology for the Fashion and Arts event of the year, ‘Capone’s Underground Affair’.

Picture yourself walking into a movie, set in the 1920’s prohibition era. This interactive event, showcasing local designers, artists and musicians will come to life with you and your costumed friends, amidst the stunning backdrop of Kelowna’s Bottega Inn. Featuring a fashion-week quality runway, unveiling the latest in Okanagan designs, rubbing shoulders with an audience of design aficionados, private collectors and familiar faces from the entertainment industry.

Experience numerous performances by local dancers, musicians, models, choreographers, fashion, make-up and hair artists. The “Affair” is truly a fusion of the Okanagan’s best in the industry.

Indulge your senses with performances featuring Toronto’s Kardinal Offishall, De’Arte, and Willy B. Local jazz musicians Aidan Mayes with Justin Glibbery, as well as jazz vocalist Alexis Leycraft. Mix that with jazz singer Lisa Bissonnette, Opera, Jazz, and EDM songstress Natalia Kormish with guest headline DJ EBAR (New York), who will be accompanied by a production team from Esquire TV. Featuring the ‘Capone’s Underground Affair’, they will be filming an episode of a new Pilot TV series, based around the arts and culinary world travels of the famous NYC DJ.

Kip Jon Productions supports local charities, fashion, dance, music, and designers by developing professional partnerships and broadening the range of artistic work and professional networks. This year, a portion of the proceeds from the Affair will go towards supporting two incredible local charities, the Kelowna General Hospital Foundation’s ‘Be a Lifesaver Campaign’ and the Okanagan Boys and Girls Club.
