NYON, Switzerland - British authorities have charged three men over a pitch invasion stunt which caused Tottenham's Europa League match to be temporarily suspended last week.

Nathaniel Thompson, Helder Gomes and Daniel Jarvis were arrested after each separately went onto the White Hart Lane field and attempted to take "selfie" photographs on Thursday.

They have been released on bail but must appear at a court in north London on Dec. 18.

UEFA has already opened a disciplinary case against Tottenham, which beat Partizan Belgrade 1-0 in the match.
