Snow flurries possible in Kamloops this weekend

KAMLOOPS - Some sunshine and milder temperatures could lead to snow flurries in Kamloops this weekend.

The Environment Canada forecast calls for valley cloud today, Dec. 14, with a brisk wind out of the east and the temperature steady around 1 Celsius. It will be mainly cloudy overnight with a 30 per cent chance of flurries, the wind will become light near midnight and the mercury will drop to -3 C.

Cloudy skies are expected in Kamloops tomorrow with a 60 per cent chance of flurries and a high of 1 C. Cloudy periods are forecast overnight, with a low down to -5 C.

Expect a mix of sun and cloud on Saturday with a high of 0 C.

On Sunday, the weather office predicts a cloudy day with 60 per cent chance of flurries and a high around 0 C.

Normal temperatures for this time of year are highs of 0 C and lows of -6 C.
