UPDATE: Severe thunderstorm watch dropped in Okanagan

OKANAGAN - Environment Canada has ended the severe thunderstorm watch for the Okanagan.

Along with the watch, a severe thunderstorm warning for Vernon was also ended this afternoon, June 1.

Environment Canada says conditions are no longer favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms.

A pair of thunderstorms blew through Vernon earlier this afternoon.
