Senior in hospital after hit and run in Lake Country
Lake Country RCMP are investigating a possible hit and run involving an elderly pedestrian over a week ago.
The incident happened in the 12000 block of Carr’s Landing Road at around 6:40 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 30, according to an RCMP press release issued today, Feb. 8.
The possible hit and run left a Lake Country senior in the hospital with serious injuries.
RCMP have not released any details about a suspect vehicle or the victim.
Police are asking anyone with information about this incident or dash cam footage of Carr’s Landing Road between 6 a.m. and 7 a.m., Jan. 30, to contact RCMP at 250-766-2288 and reference file number 2024-5125.
