KELOWNA – The spookiest night of the year is just around the corner and Kelowna has no shortage of frightful fun for the whole family.
This is the final year to visit the ever popular East Kelowna Haunted Hall. Bigger and more terrifying than ever, the Haunted Hall is not for the faint of heart.
With rooms like the Spider Room, the Torture Chamber and the Lab, this annual favourite provides a safe word for those who bite off more than they can chew.
The Kelowna KOs Wheelchair Rugby Association is hosting an adult Halloween Dance party Halloween night from 7:30 until midnight. DJ Derka James will be providing live music and there will be contests, games and lots of prizes. Admission is $25 at the door with all proceeds going to the Kelowna KOs.
The Kelowna Corn Maze is back for its fourth year, providing a spooky walk both day and night until Halloween. Located on Valley Road in Glenmore, the Corn Maze is open daily from 11 a.m. until 11 p.m.
The Kelowna Community Theatre is hosting Haunted Howler Comedy Fest featuring Michael Winslow, the man of 10,000 sound effects and one of the stars of the Police Academy movies. The show mixes a haunted house theme with a night of stand-up comedy.
And finally, the UBCO Asian Students Society is hosting Nostalgia House, a cartoon themed haunted house that organizers say will destroy your childhood one character at a time. The Nostalgia House is open from 7 p.m. until 10 p.m. Halloween night. Tickets are $5 at the door.
