PENTICTON - Penticton RCMP dealt with more incidents of youths spraying each other with pepper spray last week.

Police spokesperson Cpl. Don Wrigglesworth says police investigated several reports of young people chasing each other with pepper spray and fighting on Saturday night, June 24, in the downtown area.

Police searched a vehicle and found open alcohol, a crossbow, a small bat and pepper spray, Wrigglesworh says, and the vehicle was towed and impounded.

He says while officers were conducting their investigation, two men nearby began arguing. One of the men was very intoxicated and was placed in custody until sober.

Two incidents involving youth and bear spray took place Friday and Saturday night, May 26  and 27 of this year.
