Salmon Arm RCMP seeking suspect in armed robbery

SALMON ARM - Police are searching for a male suspect who allegedly robbed a Salmon Arm business.

Salmon Arm RCMP attended to a robbery at a downtown business on Jan. 25, 2019, a media release says.

Officers determined the man had robbed the store using a firearm. The store is located in the 100 block of Lakeshore Drive NE in Salmon Arm. The suspect fled the area of the store on Shuswap Street towards Lakeshore Drive.

The suspect is described as approximately 5’7” tall, with a slim build, short hair and a scruffy beard. He was wearing a dark coloured hoodie, dark sunglasses, and a dark hat.

Anyone who may have seen this man downtown is asked to call the Salmon Arm RCMP at 250-832-6044 or you can leave an anonymous tip with Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
