UPDATE: Sahali Shoppers suspected robber in custody

KAMLOOPS - Police arrested a suspected following an investigation into a robbery at the Summit Drive Shoppers Drug Mart Thursday night.

Staff say they were threatened with an aerosol can during the robbery that netted the thief electronics.

RCMP were called to the Summit Drive store just before midnight on Thursday when a male suspect entered the store and demanded cash. He presented an aerosol can during the robbery, though it was not deployed and it is unknown what it contained. While no one was injured the suspect did make off with electronics.

The suspect, described as 6’ tall and thin with brown hair and receding hairline had his face covered by a bandana.

RCMP are asking for any one with information about this incident to call 250-828-3000 or to remain anonymous call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
