KELOWNA - Execution of a police search warrant on a rural property in Beaverdell revealed more than $100,000 in stolen property.

Kelowna RCMP also have seven people in custody after searching two separate properties east of Kelowna yesterday, June 12.

Upon execution of the search warrant on a Beaverdell Station Road property, police found four stolen bikes believed related to a June 7 theft from McCulloch Road in Kelowna, where a truck and trailer of bicycles belonging to Myra Canyon Rentals was stolen, according to a Kelowna RCMP release by Const. Lesley Smith.

The property search also revealed a Jeep Patriot believed stolen from Kimberly, B.C. and a Volkswagen Jetta reported stolen out of Kelowna.

Officers were led to a second location near Big White and Highway 33 where a stolen Ford F350 truck along with a flat deck trailer and 41 bicycles belonging to Myra Canyon Rentals were found.

Six men and one woman were arrested, with one man remaining in custody after it was discovered he had an outstanding warrant.

Investigation into the thefts continues.
