Running a red light causes three vehicle collision in Penticton

The motor vehicle incident on Westminster Avenue and Power Street on Jan. 11, 2019 was the result of running a red light.

PENTICTON - Three vehicles were in a collision yesterday evening after one ran a red light.

The vehicles could be seen banged up in the intersection of Westminster Avenue and Power Street at about 7 p.m. yesterday, Jan. 11.

"An SUV was determined to have ran a red light which resulted in a bit of a chain reaction collision with two other vehicles," Const. Chad Jackson says over the phone. 

No injuries were reported.

A ticket for running a red light was issued to the driver.

Drugs and alcohol were not reported to be factors in this incident.
