KAMLOOPS - A routine RCMP traffic stop on Seymour Street in Kamloops early yesterday morning revealed an array of weapons in a vehicle.

Police pulled the vehicle over at around 2 a.m. yesterday, June 19, according to an RCMP media release. When the officer approached the vehicle, he noticed a hunting knife and a taser in the centre console.

A 45-year-old woman and a 50-year-old man, both from Kamloops, were arrested with incident.

RCMP say a further search of the vehicle revealed two machetes, two cans of bear spray, a collapsible baton, another taser, a hatchet and several knives.
