The National Energy Board have scheduled hearings next week in Kamloops to hear from concerned landowners about the Trans Mountain pipeline expansion.

KAMLOOPS - The Trans Mountain pipeline is making its way through the region soon and local landowners will have one last chance for input on the route.
The National Energy Board has scheduled detailed route hearings next week to hear input from concerned landowners.
Detailed route process hearings will determine if the currently approved corridor is the best route. This is a mandatory step the National Energy Board must complete before starting construction on the pipeline expansion, according to a release.
Starting Tuesday, May 1 until May 3, hearings will take place at Hotel 540 on Victoria Street to hear from landowners and registered guests. Hearings will also be available through a live audio feed through the National Energy Board’s website, according to media release sent today, April 26.
After the hearings in Kamloops, they will move to Merritt from May 8 to 10. Details of the daily schedule will be available on the National Energy Board’s website.
