KELOWNA - Police and emergency services are at the scene of a rollover that happened on Byrns Road today at around 1:30 p.m.
The Mercedes SUV was travelling westbound approximately one kilometre west of Benvoulin when the driver drifted through the bike lane and hit the ditch on the right side.
The driver then lost control, hit a driveway that spans a drainage ditch and the vehicle rolled onto its roof.
The driver, a 52-year-old female, was the only occupant and was able to walk away from the accident.
She is being looked after by paramedics on scene.
Investigators are examining the scene where the driver of the SUV apparently lost control after drifting through the bike land and onto the top of the ditch.
