Rockslide has Kamloops area highway down to single-lane traffic

KAMLOOPS -  A rockslide blocked one lane on Highway 5A near Kamloops yesterday afternoon.

Its still single-lane alternating traffic on Highway 5A south of Kamloops this morning, Nov. 1, Drive B.C. says. No word when the route will fully reopen.

Crews are at work today clearing the debris from the rockslide that hit the highway about 10 kilometres yesterday afternoon at around 1 p.m.

Paula Pick sent a photo of the slide and says she thinks she was the first person on the scene.
