The Trans-Canada Highway has reopened in southeastern B.C.
A rock slide severed the route between Revelstoke and Golden yesterday evening, Oct. 24.
The route reopened at about 12:30 p.m. today after geotechnical engineers assessed the slide and crews cleared the highway.
Traffic is heavy on the highway thanks to a backlog of vehicles.
For the latest on the highway conditions and closures go to the Drive B.C. website.
