KAMLOOPS — Anyone with dash cam footage of a fatal cement truck rollover yesterday near Sun Peaks is being asked to contact Kamloops RCMP.

Kamloops RCMP say to further the investigation into the death of a man who died after his cement truck rolled down an embankment near Sun Peaks yesterday, April 29, investigators are looking for video footage from the public.

A cement truck travelling to Sun Peaks on Heffley Louis Creek Road left the roadway and rolled down an embankment, police say.

Firefighters extracted the Kamloops driver from the truck, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are asking for anyone who may have been driving down Heffley Louis Creek Road on April 29 from 8:15 a.m. to 8:40 a.m. and has dash cam footage to contact Kamloops Rural RCMP at 250-828-3000.
