VERNON - Police and B.C. Coroners Service are investigating a fatal crash yesterday morning on a rural road in Coldstream.

The driver, a 37-year-old North Okanagan man, was pronounced dead at the scene and police aren't releasing his name at this point, Const. Jocelyn Noseworthy says in a release.

RCMP were called to King Edward Forest Service road in Coldstream yesterday, Feb. 26 at 8:35 a.m.

Noseworthy says a white Ford F150 lost control turning right into a corner. The pickup left the road, went down a 20 foot embankment and struck a tree.

If you witnessed this crash, or have any information, and have not yet spoken to police you are asked to contact the Vernon-North Okanagan RCMP at 250-545-7171.
