KAMLOOPS - From the second annual Pride Parade to culture events, there's a little bit of everything for people in Kamloops this weekend.

Events kick-off tomorrow, Aug. 24, at Riverside Park with Interior Savings's Moonlight Movie Night at 7 p.m. The family film Coco will be shown and admission is by donation with a suggested fee of $3 per person or $10 per family.

Bring some cash for admission and snacks, and you'll want to pack some warm clothes as cooler temperatures are expected tomorrow evening. Proceeds from the event go to the Canadian Mental Health Association.

If you want to see what Kamloops really has to offer, check out Subculture 2018 on Saturday, which will feature live music, a business showcase, art interaction, a Red Collar beer garden and food trucks. For more information on the event go here.

Later that day if you're up for a short road trip you can head to Sun Peaks for Music in the Mountains, which features Juno award-winning artists Dan Mangan and Bedouin Soundclash. Sister Speak will kick things off at 3 p.m. followed by Mangan's performance at 6 p.m. Bedouin Soundclash will perform Sunday.

For full details on the event, go here.

Finally you can wrap up your weekend by watching the second annual downtown Kamloops Pride Parade Sunday with the procession beginning at 11 a.m. at Riverside Park. The map below shows the parade's route. There will be no parking on Victoria Street and Lansdowne Street between 1 Avenue and 6 Avenue beginning Saturday night.

There will also be partial closures of both Lansdowne and Victoria Streets, along with parts of 1 to 6 Avenues.
