KAMLOOPS - A man accused of killing a man in a Kamloops RV park last year could find out this week if he will have to stand trial.

Stephen George Fraser, 57, appeared in Kamloops Provincial Court today, Jan. 24 for day three of his preliminary inquiry. The hearing is scheduled to wrap up on Friday.

Fraser is charged with murder in connection to the death of 26-year-old Cody Allan Foster.

A preliminary inquiry is held to determine if there is enough evidence against an accused to proceed to trial. These hearings are bound by a court-ordered publication ban, and no details from the hearing can be made public.

Fraser was charged in connection to Foster's death the day after the alleged incident in February 2017.

Police said at the time that officers were called to a disturbance at a RV park in the 9000 block of Dallas Drive, where Foster was found deceased.

The accusations against Fraser have not been proven in court.
