Possible showers Saturday, but otherwise sunny skies for Kamloops

With the exception of a 40 per cent chance of showers on Saturday, it's mostly sunshine and temperatures at or above seasonal norms for Kamloops over the next few days.

KAMLOOPS - A mostly sunny weekend is in store for Kamloops and the start of next week’s work week, with just a small chance of showers through Saturday.

Environment Canada says to expect sunny skies with a high of 32 Celsius today, with winds becoming west at 20 km/h this afternoon.

It should drop to a low of 17 C overnight.

Friday should see a mix of sun and clouds with winds becoming west at 30 km/h in the morning.

Kamloops should see a high of 27 C and a low of 14 C.

Saturday, a small disturbance could bring a 40 per cent chance of showers under a mix of sun and cloud.

Saturday’s high should reach 25 C with a low of 14 C.

Sunny skies return on Sunday with a high of 28 C and a low of 14 C.

For the start of the work week on Monday, Kamloops residents can expect to see more sun, a high of 28 C and a low of 14 C.

The sunshine should continue Tuesday and Wednesday with highs both days of 30  C.

Kamloops normally experiences a high of 28 C and a low of 13 C this time of year.
