Police investigate pedestrian struck by train in Kamloops

Police are on the scene where a pedestrian was struck by a train this morning in Kamloops.

RCMP received a report that someone was hit by a train on the tracks along Mission Flats Road this morning, Oct. 1, according to a press release from police.

There’s a large police presence on the scene and RCMP officers are investigating with Canadian Pacific Kansas City police.

RCMP are not releasing details the incident and have asked the public to avoid the area until first responders have cleared.
