KELOWNA - Police are gathering information and looking for victims of a possible child offender but are being intentionally vague about what drew their attention.

Kelowna RCMP Const. Kris Clark says police believe Jason Antonio White, 35, of West Kelowna committed criminal offences against children, but can't be more specific.

"We don't want to limit any responses to just those offences," Clark says.

Clark also says the investigation is currently just within the Central Okanagan and no special RCMP forces from their integrated units were called in to help. He wouldn't say how White became known to police.

"As soon as we have any more details to share about this case, we'll release them," Clark says.

According to British Columbia provincial court services, White is charged with one count of invitation to sexual touching under 16 and two counts of exposing genitals to a person under 16.

White is currently in custody and scheduled to appear in court March 26.

White is described as a Caucasian male, 6'2", 161 pounds, balding with blond hair and blue eyes.
