KAMLOOPS - Jazz up your window display, support a national sporting event and maybe even win some tickets to see the 2014 Tim Hortons Brier in Kamloops.

Local businesses are being asked to show support for the annual national curling event in a creative way — by decorating storefronts.

Plastic banner wrap, posters, brochures and tent cards are available upon request to create displays demonstrating support and excitement for the event on its way to Kamloops in a few weeks.

The event lands in the Tournament Capital for the second time, March 1 to 9 at the Interior Savings Centre. The winning team from the event represents Canada at the World Men's Curling Championship at a venue and time yet to be determined.

For those who get involved, judges will choose three top displays on Feb. 24 to win Brier tickets. Businesses are also encouraged to create a promotional coupon, offering incentives for fans. Samples of coupons must be sent by Feb. 8 for approval.

For more information, contact the event's marketing and office coordinator, Audrey Mataseje, at 778-471-2253 or email amataseje@curling.ca.
