One suspect nabbed, another at large in Lake Country home invasion

Police released a photo of a suspect they believe was involved in a Lake Country break-in last month.

LAKE COUNTRY - Police have arrested a suspect in connection to a Lake Country home invasion last month, but they're still looking for second suspect.

In a press release, Lake Country RCMP confirmed they arrested Alec Ambrosius Roberts on March 11 in connection with a break and enter at the 11300 block of Pretty Road on Feb. 28.

A suspect broke into the residence and assaulted a man before fleeing the scene in a U-Haul vehicle.

Lake Country police are still looking for a second possible suspect involved in the crime. They released a photo of the suspect in the hopes someone can identify him.

Anyone with information is asked to call Lake Country RCMP at 250-766-2288.

Roberts is scheduled to appear before a Kelowna court judge via video on March 14. He is charged with one count of assault with a weapon and one count of break and enter.
