Okanagan College transit exchange and KLO Road improvements public information session

The City of Kelowna will host a public information session on June 19 at Kelowna Secondary School.
The City is in the final stages of planning for a future KLO / Okanagan College transit exchange and associated roadway improvements. Public feedback from two open houses and results of transportation studies have been reviewed and incorporated into a design concept.
When: Wednesday June 19, 4-7 p.m.
Where: Kelowna Secondary School library
The City of Kelowna’s Official Community Plan acknowledges KLO Road in the Okanagan College area as a priority corridor for multi-use and active transportation. Transit amenities, road infrastructure and pedestrian/cycling linkages in the area have been identified by the City and BC Transit as investment priorities.
The Okanagan College transit exchange and KLO Road improvements project is part of BC Transit's RapidBus Phase 2 and 3 Project, which includes creating and upgrading transit facilities throughout the region.
