No verdict in Day 6 of deliberations in ex-Cuomo aide trial

NEW YORK - Jurors in the bribery trial of a former top aide to New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo have gone home for the weekend after a sometimes rocky week of deliberations.

The jury in Joseph Percoco's trial reviewed some portions of testimony Friday, their sixth day deliberating. They're due to continue Monday.

Prosecutors say Percoco accepted over $300,000 in bribes from three businessmen who needed the state's help. Defence lawyers say no bribes exchanged hands.

Deliberations apparently hit a rough patch Tuesday, when the jury said it was deadlocked and three members tried to quit.

The panel was told to keep working and did, after a day off Wednesday because of a winter storm.

Percoco was a longtime confidante of the Democratic governor, who isn't accused of wrongdoing.
