ENDERBY - RCMP have nabbed half of suspected thieving duo in Enderby after a two-month investigation.
On Dec. 5, police arrested an Enderby man in connection to a vehicle break-in back in October, according to an RCMP media release. A female suspect in the case is still at large.
Overnight on Oct. 3, thieves broke into a vehicle on Third Avenue in Enderby, stealing a wallet with identification and credit cards, police say. The suspects immediately used the credit cards at a local gas station.
During the investigation, police identified the suspects, both of whom are known to RCMP. They located and arrested the man earlier this week.
"The Vernon North Okanagan RCMP would like to remind vehicle owners to ensure that nothing is left in their vehicles while un-occupied," said Const. Kelly Brett in the release.
The 28-year-old male suspect was released on conditions. He is scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 18.
