KAMLOOPS - It’s looking like a good weekend for indoor activities in Kamloops.
Environment Canada meteorologist Armel Castellan says a large upper trough is extending its way through central B.C. today, Sept. 13, and is bringing rain and cooler temperatures with it.
Castellan says to expect rainy weather with daytime highs in the mid-teens through Monday.
“It’s going to be dreary for this time of year. There won’t be that remnant summer feel to the weather this weekend,” he says.
Today look for cloudy skies and a 70 per cent chance of showers in Kamloops, along with a below normal high of 13 Celsius.
Tomorrow, things don’t improve much with a prediction for a 60 per cent chance of showers and a high of 15 C.
The cloudy weather continues on Saturday with a 40 per cent chance of showers and a high of 16 C.
The forecast calls for clouds and showers on Sunday with a high of 15 C.
Normal high temperatures in Kamloops at this time of year are around 22 C.
