KELOWNA - The Kelowna Rockets face off against the Tri-City Americans for the Western Conference first-round playoff game at Prospera Place this Saturday, March 22.

The puck drops at 7:05 p.m.

To kick off the rounds, the Rockets and local sponsors will entertain fans with the Kal Tire Tailgate Party from 5:30 to 7 p.m. The first 1,000 fans will enjoy a free hot dog, beverage and bag of Old Dutch chips, but those who don't make it in time for freebies can still take part in other activities.

There'll be bouncy castles, face painters, an inflatable shooting radar game and tire hockey/shooting games. An assortment of prizes will be awarded including 500 mini sticks for kids and a chance to fill out a ballot to win a set of four tires, compliments of Kal Tire.

The Rockets go into the playoffs first in the WHL and No. 1 in the BMO CHL top ten rankings for the 2013-14 regular season.
