ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - The Latest on an amber alert issued for three young boys who are missing (all times local):

11:10 p.m.

Authorities say a woman and her three young sons who were reported missing in New Mexico have been found safe in Southern California.

Bernalillo County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Felicia Maggard said late Sunday detectives are investigating the disappearance of Laria Anderson and the boys, which led to an Amber Alert.

Maggard said in an email that Anderson and the boys aged 6, 8 and 9 were located in the city of Lancaster in Los Angeles County. The Amber Alert was cancelled.

Anderson is believed to have driven from Albuquerque through Arizona and into California, where she has family. Authorities say Anderson has full custody of the boys but made threatening comments during a fight with their father.

New Mexican authorities say they believe the mother of three boys who are missing could be driving them through Arizona to Southern California, where she has family.

The woman, 28-year-old Laria Anderson, isn't facing criminal charges at the time and has full custody of the boys. But the Bernalillo County Sheriff's Office says detectives are concerned for their safety after Anderson made threatening comments to the boys' father early Sunday morning.

The sheriff's office says Anderson made threats against the lives of her children and herself during a fight with their father.

They're asking Anderson to get the boys to safety.

Authorities in New Mexico have issued an Amber Alert for three boys believed to have been abducted by their mother.

The boys are 6, 8 and 9 years old and were last seen early Sunday morning and were taken from a home on the southwest side of Albuquerque.

The Bernalillo County Sheriff's Office says they could be in imminent danger and that their mother, 28-year-old Laria Anderson, may be armed with a handgun.

Police believe they could be in a silver 2009 Kia Spectra.
