A new promotional video showcasing the many champions of Kamloops was released this week.

KAMLOOPS – A new promotional video aimed at getting new investors to consider the city shows the many champions that call or have called Kamloops home.
Venture Kamloops released the video, entitled Kamloops: A Story of Champions, this week. The four minute video shows athletes, politicians and other leaders as well as the many events that take place in city every year, like the car show, Daily News Boogie, Kamloopa Pow Wow, B.C. Lions training camp and Blazer hockey.
Parks, recreation, shopping, arts and transportation are also highlighted in the video, which executive director Jim Anderson calls a powerful tool.
“This new video will assist us in reaching out to our local stakeholders, as well as national and international investors,” explains Anderson. “It will allow us to tell our story and illustrate that we are a community that encourages growth, development, and improvement.”
Mastermind Studios produced the video, which the city also partnered on.
“It’s a powerful tool for us to use,” says Anderson. “We will use it as we showcase our city to potential investors and employers and we’ve very proud of it.”
