Netflix's award-winning Royal Family drama "The Crown" is back for a second season on Dec. 8. The best TV drama Golden Globe winner stars Claire Foy as Queen Elizabeth, who was seen in the first season marrying future-prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. The second season covers the political chaos of the post-Second World War era and the downfall of Prime Minister Harold Macmillan.
Also on Dec. 8, CraveTV launches the hit HBO miniseries "Big Little Lies," which won eight Emmys in September, including best limited series and a best director award for Canadian Jean-Marc Vallee. The story follows the lives of a number of quarrelling parents in the affluent seaside town of Monterey, Calif. The ensemble cast includes Nicole Kidman, Laura Dern, Alexander Skarsgard (all three won Emmys for their roles), Reese Witherspoon, Shailene Woodley, Adam Scott, Zoe Kravitz and Canadian James Tupper.
