Four beloved Canadian rock bands from the 1990s are scrapping their joint cross-country tour after running into repeated pandemic-related disruptions.
Sloan, Headstones, Moist and the Tea Party announced Friday that they're cancelling the Saints & Sinners tour and have no plans to reschedule.
The quartet of '90s hitmakers were set to hit the road together in November for a 15-city tour roughly two years in the making.
But the bands say they were forced to cancel those dates after being hit by another round of "immovable pandemic-related roadblocks" and public health restrictions.
Organizers say ticket-holders should contact their place of purchase for refund instructions.
The rockers thanked fans for their support throughout their thwarted efforts to "do this great thing together."
"We kept trying to make it happen because of your support," Sloan, Headstones, Moist and the Tea Party said in a joint statement Friday.
"Music says it all — we miss the conversation and sharing it with you — it means everything to us," the statement continued.
"Whatever the coming days and months have in store, let’s face it together, so we come out the other side of this thing still talking to each other and ready to fill the venues across Canada with music again."
