Morning crash sends cyclist to hospital

KAMLOOPS - A collision in Brocklehurst has sent a cyclist to hospital with non-life threatening injuries this morning.

Around 7:30 a.m. police were called to Desmond Street and Tranquille Road where a car and a cyclist had collided. The cyclist was taken to hospital by ambulance to be treated and police say the extent of the injuries are currently not known, though they are considered non-life-threatening.

The driver of the car has been ticketed for failing to yield on a left hand turn.
