It promises to be an excellent finish to a fine fall week in the Okanagan.

There’s some clouds in the forecast today, Oct. 1, but those should clear by this evening, followed by another run of mainly sunny conditions well into next week.

Environment Canada says clouds will build through this morning in hazy skies, with a high of 22 Celsius and a low of 10 C expected.

Friday and the weekend look mainly sunny, with highs of 24 C expected Friday and Saturday, along with lows of 10 C.

Sunday should be sunny with a high of 22 C and a low to 9 C.

More sunshine is forecast for Monday through Wednesday next week. Monday’s high is expected to reach 22 C with a high of 21 C anticipated Tuesday, with both nights’ lows are forecast to dip to 8 C.

On Wednesday, more sunshine along with a high of 21 is predicted.

Normal temperatures at this time of year in the Okanagan are usually a bit cooler with highs of 18 C and lows of 5 C.
